Terms and conditions

Confirmation of registration will be emailed to the ‘booking contact’. If you have not received your acknowledgement within 48 hours of registering, please contact us to confirm your booking. We cannot be held responsible for the non-arrival of delegate registration information.

The online conference booking form constitutes a legally binding agreement. Payment should be received, in full, within 30 days of the invoice date.

To qualify for a special offer – such as a discounted rate – bookings must be submitted and paid for, on or in advance of the published deadline.

If your organisation operates a purchase order system, please ensure you get the appropriate authorisation prior to booking – if you complete a booking and fail to get such authorisation you will be held personally liable for payment.

We appreciate that circumstances can change. For those unable to attend, a substitute delegate may be registered with us (by email or phone) at any time for no additional charge. Alternatively a refund will be given for cancellations confirmed in writing, up to 14 days prior to the event, less an administration charge of 25% plus VAT.

We regret that no refunds can be offered for cancellations made less than 14 days before the event or for delegates who fail to attend on the day.

Refunds will be given to cancellations made – in writing – less than 14 days before the event as per our cancellation terms above. Full refunds will only be offered in special circumstances and will be entirely at the discretion of Policy Hub Scotland.

Should Policy Hub Scotland cancel an event, a full refund will be made to the billing contact/organisation within 30 days of the event cancellation.

Should Policy Hub Scotland postpone or reschedule an event, delegates will first be offered the opportunity to attend on the rescheduled date. If this proves unsuitable to a delegate, a full refund will be made to the billing contact/organisation within 30 days.

Policy Hub Scotland will make every attempt to provide the programme as advertised. However, in the event of speakers being unable to attend, or any other circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to alter the programme and other particulars as appropriate.

The actions and views expressed by speakers and delegates at our events cannot in any way be attributed to Policy Hub Scotland.
